Who we are

ONYX Inbounds is operated by Etaye LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. We run a marketplace that connects licensed insurance agents with live, pre-qualified prospects. Contact us at eyuel@onyxfinancial.org.

Who this covers

This policy describes how we handle information about two groups: the agents and dialers who hold accounts on this platform, and the consumers whose details pass through it when a call is transferred.

What we collect about account holders

  • Your name, email address and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see it).
  • Your role, the states you are licensed in, your carrier appointments and writing numbers.
  • Your phone-system extension and direct dial, so a completed call can be matched to a transfer.
  • Wallet balance, deposits, charges and refunds. Card details are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach ours.
  • Basic technical records such as sign-in times, and server logs generated when you use the service.

What we collect about consumers

When a dialer transfers a call, the record can include the person's name, phone number, state, age, tobacco use, health notes they volunteered, coverage interest, intended beneficiary, and their stated reason for wanting coverage. Calls placed or received through the platform may be recorded, and a link to that recording may be stored against the transfer.

We collect this because it is the substance of the service: an agent cannot responsibly advise someone without it.

Call recording

Recording laws differ by state, and several require every party to consent. Whoever places or receives the call is responsible for obtaining consent as the law requires in that state. Recordings are retained only as long as needed to resolve billing disputes and to meet record-keeping obligations.

How we use information

  • To route a transfer to an agent licensed and appointed to write it.
  • To bill a transfer once a call stays connected for thirty seconds, and to resolve disputes.
  • To keep the service secure and to investigate misuse.
  • To contact you about your account, including password resets and service notices.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to operate the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments) and our telephony provider (calling and recording). They may process the information only to provide those services to us.

We also disclose a transfer's details to the specific licensed agent it is routed to — that is the point of the service.

We do not sell personal information. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Where information is processed

Some dialers who use this platform operate outside the United States. Information in a transfer record may therefore be accessed from other countries.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by writing to the address above. Some records — billing entries in particular — must be retained to meet legal and accounting obligations even after an account closes. Consumers may ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list at any time.

Security

Access to records is restricted by role and enforced at the database level. Passwords are hashed, checked against known-breached password lists, and card details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
